We flew into Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic for Spring break 2013. It was a nice get away especially when I had school. We went to a lot of different museums and old buildings, typically things you will find in the city and of course stopped by at the beach. We had a spot for Mojitos that were 2 for $5 that we went to everyday we were in the city. We rented a car and literally drove around the whole island from Santo Domingo to Punta Cana to Puerto Plata. The more tropical areas was my favorite part of the trip. Punta Cana is definitely the more resort type of stay. We went to 27 waterfalls and zip lining in Puerto Plata (more adventures).
