Minnesota 2015

Gooseberry Falls, MN.
We went hiking and exploring at Gooseberry Falls, past Duluth. The waterfalls were almost all the way frozen, but not quite since it was not as cold as usual in Minnesota.

Moab, Utah 2015

Moab wasn't what I expected it to be, I thought there would be taller rock formations and more to see! But we didn't get to fully explore and rock climb because I had a upcoming surgery and did not want to push it too hard. We just went to Arches State Park and hiked to Delicate Arch and all the arches around it. I cannot wait to go rock climbing there! We were in our Acura so we couldn't go off roading. Defineitly need out 4x4 truck for that!

Horseshoe Bend Arizona 2014

We finally made it up to Horseshoe Bend when we live in Arizona! Definitely a must to check out especially if you live in Arizona. The hike was easy and short about 15 minutes to the bend. But as you know bring lots of water because the heat can get to you really fast! It's also free, that is always nice. Antelope Canyon is not free, you must have a tour guide because is Native land, it rangse from $25-55.

Jacks Canyon Arizona 2014

We had a blast climbing here at Jack's Canyon, AZ and camping. It was a rainy weekend, the weather forecast said it wasn't, but I guess it changed! We were climbing and it started down pouring on us a few times! It wasn't good. So I had to hurry and belay TL down and get under the rocks so we wouldn't get totally wet. We waited a little bit for it to stop raining, but it didn't look like it was happening anytime soon. We just had to hike back up quick! We were going to camp another night, but it was so rainy we had to leave. We almost got stuck in the mud with our car since they we dirt roads too! AHHH.

Texas 2014

Day 1 of climbing at Reimer's Ranch. This place is one of my favorite places to climb because of it's limestone rocks! Limestone is my favorite type of rock to climb, it's not rough on the hands and there are so many holds to choose from. This is the newer area in the back of Reimer's Ranch.

Day 2

We've been here 3 times and definitely would go back!

Enchanted Rock State Park. Most of the climbs here are trad with some sports. The type of rock at the place is sandstone. This rock was really slick and slippery! Majority of this time you are using your feet mainly and your hands to guide you. It was a little weird!

Tennessee 2014

Hiking and climbing at Foster Falls, TN. We had lots of fun hiking and climbing in this area! A lot of the climbs were tough because of the rock formation so it took us a minute to get the hang of it. It's crazy that there are some many types of rock formations that you can just get use to a certain type and think your the greatest! But once you get more experience and climb other types of rocks it's a whole different story. I loved the waterfalls here!
